Section I: Listening

​

Test takers listen to a variety of questions and short conversations recorded in English, then answer questions based on what they have heard (100 items total).

  • Part 1: Photographs

  • Part 2: Question-Response

  • Part 3: Conversations

  • Part 4: Short Talks

​

Section II: Reading

​

Test takers read a variety of materials and respond at their own pace (100 items total).

  • Part 5: Incomplete Sentences

  • Part 6: Error Recognition or Text Completion

  • Part 7: Reading Comprehension

Test Length

​

The test takes approximately 2½ hours, with:

  • 45 minutes for Section I

  • 75 minutes for Section II

  • approximately 30 minutes to answer biographical questions

What can you learn from the test?

​

TOEIC Listening and Reading scores provide meaningful feedback about a test taker’s strengthsand weaknesses, along with a description of the skills typical of test takers at various levels. The skills measured by the test include an individual’s ability to:

  • Understand explanations and instructions

  • Understand workplace conversations

  • Follow public talks and announcements

  • Connect information in different real-world texts

Class Size

This course lasts ideally thee to four months and takes place twice a week There are maximum of 6 participants in the course.

Practice tests in the English Language Lab are free.

​

A free English Test at the beginning is recommanded for all students.

The test will take about 30 minutes and will assess your level of English, from beginner to proficient.

Finding your English level will help you choose which of our courses is best suited for your needs. You can also discover where you are strongest, and areas that you would like to focus on when you start studying.

TOEIC - the Global Standard for Assessing English Proficiency for Business

The TOEIC tests assess language skills that are used in daily life and in the workplace. Test takers speak and write in English their responses to real-world questions and scenarios. The tests use common everyday vocabulary, phrases and key expressions
