I think the real measure of success is what we do, not what we say.
Having many years of experience in English teaching, in all aspects of English in the city of Durres, Albania, serving concurrently (20 years) as a supervisor and mentor of English teachers , developing training courses for newly recruited teachers - to improve their proficiency and professional skills, and participating in numerous inspection teams, speak volumes of my work.
Now I work as a private English teacher at the English Language Center, run by me, officially recognized, where I am distinguished for my effective communicative methods of English language teaching and students’ high scores in TOEFL, SAT
Regarding interpersonal professional relationships, I have been commended for using tact and diplomacy in dealing with my students , their parents and my colleagues.

Course Program

1. Advanced English Grammar in Use

Grammar Review for Advanced level and TOEFL courses focusing on the most common grammar objectives and functions, each question focuses on one important and specific aspect of English learning and study.

All units are likely to contain information that is new for students even at advanced level.

Objectives:

The objective is not to “teach” grammar to the students, because it is assumed that students have already studied grammar.  The purpose of the structure section of the TOEFL is to review and improve accuracy.  Reviewing motivates students to pay attention to detail. This allows them to use grammar structures accurately, meaningfully, and appropriately, which is the main purpose of teaching grammar.

Methodology:

Students complete practice tests consisting of sentence completion and error identification.  When the testing is finished, each student answers one question and explains the reason for his/her choice.  In the error identification part students identify and correct the error.

2. TOEFL iBT

The TOEFL test measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written and heard in academic settings. It is an internationally accepted measure of academic English proficiency.

The TOEFL exam provides the language skills needed to succeed in a university setting. It is also beneficial in a student’s job, social and community life.

The new TOEFL iBT lasts about four and a half hours and is made up of four sections: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

3. TOEFL ESSAY

  • Planning the Essay

  • Writing the Essay

  • Revising the Essay

How long are the test results valid for?

A TOEFL score is valid for two years and then is deleted from the official database. Colleges and universities usually consider only the most recent TOEFL score.
